MrGG is operated by Hostify.com Inc. (“MrGG”, “we”, “us”).
MrGG provides guest check-in and guest experience software for hospitality operators, including property managers, vacation rentals, and hotels.

Roles Under Data Protection Laws
In many cases, the host or property manager using MrGG is the data controller for guest booking and stay-related data.
MrGG typically acts as a processor providing software services on behalf of the host.
MrGG may act as an independent controller for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, analytics, and service administration.

Information We Collect
We may collect:
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Reservation details
- Guest check-in information
- Passport / ID details where required
- Electronic signatures
- Device and browser information
- IP address
- Approximate location
- Communications through the platform

How We Use Information
We use personal information to:
- Deliver the Service
- Complete guest check-in workflows
- Verify identity where required
- Process payments through approved providers
- Send arrival information
- Improve service quality
- Prevent fraud and misuse

Legal Bases
Some personal data — including name, date of birth, ID or passport details, nationality, address, and dates of stay — is collected because the property is legally required to register guests with local authorities (for example, under the Bulgarian Law on Tourism and the Law on Foreigners in Bulgaria). This processing is based on a legal obligation (GDPR Article 6(1)(c)). Data collected under this legal obligation is retained for the period required by the applicable law.

Where required, international transfers rely on lawful mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

Data Retention
We retain information only as long as necessary.
Retention periods may depend on:
- Host settings
- Applicable law
- Operational needs
- Security requirements
Certain identity documents may be deleted after limited retention periods.
Where a guest has explicitly opted in during the check-in process, MrGG may retain guest profile data and uploaded identity documents beyond the standard retention period in order to prefill future reservations made by the same guest. This processing is based on the guest's consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)) and may be withdrawn at any time by contacting hello@mrgg.io.

Depending on your jurisdiction, rights may include:

Where the host is the controller, requests may be redirected to the host.

We use modern security practices including encryption, access controls, monitoring, and vendor due diligence.
